Gregory Lamberson’s latest cinematic effort, the intense werewolf movie Frenzy Moon, continues to earn critical acclaim on the festival circuit. The film, which is already available to stream, added three new awards to its growing collection at the Zed Fest Film Festival this past weekend.

The celebrated horror film, both written and directed by Gregory Lamberson, p.g.a., was honored in multiple categories during the awards ceremony held at the L.A. Connection Theater in Burbank on Sunday night:

  • Outstanding SFX: Recognizing the work of John Vincent, Mike Boas, and Rashaad Santiago.

  • Outstanding Screen Story: Awarded to Gregory Lamberson for his compelling narrative.

  • Outstanding Director: Acknowledging the vision and execution of Gregory Lamberson.

Frenzy Moon plunges viewers into a secluded, isolated cabin where six college students and a mysterious hunter must join forces to battle a relentless pack of werewolves. Filmed on location in Clarence, New York, the film’s atmosphere and genre execution have resonated strongly with festival judges.

The recent Zed Fest honors build upon the film’s already successful festival run. Frenzy Moon previously secured awards for Best Horror Feature at the Pittsburgh Moving Picture Festival and Best Producer at the AMT International Film Festival in New York City. The thriller has also screened at international venues, including the Lusca Fantastic Fest in Puerto Rico and the Amazing Fantasy Fest in Buffalo. Its final scheduled festival appearance will be at Horror-on-Sea in Essex, England, on January 24th.

Director Gregory Lamberson is not slowing down. He is actively developing two new projects that promise to keep him firmly in the genre space. These include the vampire thriller Blood Heretics and the action thriller Deadly Rites. Deadly Rites is a project by Ed Walloga centered on the notorious figure of Charles Manson.

Fans eager to experience the award-winning, practical effects film can watch Frenzy Moon now. It’s on VOD platforms, from Uncork’d Entertainment. Watch it now on all primary services, including Apple TV, Fandango, Google Play, Prime Video, and YouTube.
