We have exciting news for horror fans: NEON’s chilling new horror film, Shelby Oaks, has come home.
Shelby Oaks has been the subject of conversations among horror fans since day one, when filmmaker Chris Stuckmann launched the project, making it the most-funded Kickstarter campaign ever for a horror film.
The film’s story centers on a woman whose desperate search for her long-lost sister spirals into dangerous obsession. Her investigation leads her to terrifying realizations that the imaginary demon they feared as children may have been all too real, blurring the line between memory and supernatural dread.
The film, which I described in my review as having “tension so thick you could cut it with a knife,” has an incredible cast. It features two lead actresses, Sarah Durn and Camille Sullivan, who did a fantastic job. If you want to hear about the film from the perspective of actress Sarah Durn, I recommend watching our interview.
