Kink meets supernatural in the first trailer for the provocative new indie horror film, The Demonatrix, which pits a dominatrix and a priest against a demonic force—and features an appearance by Horror Icon Doug Bradley (Hellraiser).

Bradley, famous worldwide as Pinhead, will star as a demonologist who mobilizes to send the evil back to Hell, bringing a serious horror pedigree to the independent project.

The Demonatrix follows Lita (Hannah Fierman, V/H/S), a dominatrix who attempts to earn extra cash by staging a sham seance. However, she accidentally summons a malevolent incubus, voiced by Nivek Ogre (Repo! The Genetic Opera).

Coming to Lita’s aid is the priest who runs the church across the street, played by co-writer/director Aurelio Voltaire (The Velocipastor). They are joined by Doug Bradley, who steps in as the priest’s experienced demonologist mentor, along with genre veteran Larry Fessenden (You’re Next).

The film boasts special makeup effects by Norman Cabrera (Hellboy, The Cabin in the Woods). The Demonatrix is written and directed by Aurelio Voltaire and Jeff Ferrell.

Horror fans will have plenty of chances to catch The Demonatrix as it launches a major festival tour, starting with its U.S. premiere next month:

  • 12/5 – New York City Horror Film Festival in New York, NY

  • 1/31 – Sacramento Horror Film Festival in Sacramento, CA
