Forget your basic fireplace loops—Santa isn’t the only one bringing cheer this year! The Ghoul Log has officially arrived!
If you’ve ever wanted to spend a cozy 90 minutes enjoying the post-apocalyptic glow of a fat man’s burning arm while listening to classic tunes, congratulations—your particular holiday wish has come true!
The special, titled Fallout: The Ghoul Log, is the perfect dose of dark humor we needed for the season.
A Brief Cameo, A Perfect Vibe
The special features an appearance by the legendary Walton Goggins as “The Ghoul,” alongside his trusty, adorable dog, CX404! After that quick hello, the one and only Wayne Newton takes over as the smooth voice of Mr. New Vegas. He’s spinning a delightful variety of holiday favorites to soundtrack your irradiated evening. It’s the perfect blend of cozy, creepy, and bizarre.
Get Ready for Season 2!
This fun little holiday special is the perfect appetizer while we wait for the main course: Season 2 of “Fallout!”
Based on the wildly popular video game franchise, “Fallout“ is a wickedly fun story. It’s about the haves and have-nots in a world where there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the nuclear apocalypse, the citizens of the luxury fallout shelters (aka the Vaults) are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind. They are quickly—and hilariously—shocked to discover an incredibly complex, weird, and often highly violent world waiting for them.
Season 2 is set to premiere on December 17th on Prime Video and will take viewers on a massive journey through the vast wasteland of the Mojave Desert, all the way to the iconic, chaotic post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas!
The series is helmed by amazing showrunners Graham Wagner (Portlandia) and Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel). Goggins and the rest of the phenomenal cast are back, including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
But for now? Grab your Nuka-Cola, put your feet up, get cozy, and enjoy the glorious absurdity of The Ghoul Log! What a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season! You can check it out, Fallout: The Ghoul Log right now, because it’s already streaming on Prime Video, or watch the short version below (without Goggins)!
