We’ve got huge news for fans of A Quiet Place! Emily Blunt, who plays Evelyn Abbott, has confirmed that A Quiet Place Part III is officially on its way.
That’s right, her super-talented husband, John Krasinski, is busy. He’s doing the vital work of creating the next chapter in this terrifyingly silent franchise!
John Krasinski is in the Writing Zone!
Blunt shared the exciting update with Deadline, adding a playful detail:
“John is currently in his monastic writing cell, just dreaming it up. He has barely told me anything, so I’m excited about all of it, really.”
Seriously, the thought of Krasinski cooking up a script that will make us hold our breath for two hours is exhilarating! He’s returning to write, direct, and produce the sequel. And of course, we expect Blunt to be back as the ultimate resourceful matriarch, Evelyn Abbott.

The script is still being written; however, the new installment of the sci-fi horror franchise already has a release date. But it will be a while. It won’t hit theaters until July 9, 2027. The news was confirmed by an Instagram post (see below).
