Hold onto your battle vests and crank up the volume, because a new horror flick, Devour, is about to drop, mixing heavy metal, blood, and hilariously named monsters!

Get ready for Devour (formerly titled Virginia Bitches), a new hair-raising horror experience that promises an overload of monstrous mayhem. And guess what? We just got a brand-new clip introducing a character you absolutely have to meet: “Fat Carl.”

When the Tour Takes a Terrifying Detour

This movie centers on an all-female metal band, appropriately named “The Virginia Bitches.” They’re just rocking out on tour when BAM—their van breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Seeking help, they stumble upon a secluded town.

Bad idea. REALLY BAD IDEA.

Turns out, the locals are a cannibal clan led by a notorious Warlock! Soon, the band members are locked in a brutal fight for survival. To escape becoming the next item on the menu, they have to unleash their inner demons… and maybe some killer guitar riffs.

Meet the Meat—Including Fat Carl!

The best part? This movie leans heavily into the gooey, gruesome goodness of practical effects!

Devour was filmed at Digital Thunderdome Studios in Atlanta, and they brought in the heavy hitters to make the creatures look grossly real. Special effects titan Wayne Anderson (who worked on huge blockbusters like Jurassic World, IT, and The Predator) designed and built the creature suits. When you meet “Fat Carl” (played by Jimmy Dempster) in the new clip, you’ll see that disgusting realism in action!

Who’s Getting Devoured?

The film has a killer cast ready to face the cannibals, including Gavin Wilde (The Black Phone) and Katelyn Newberry (Juror #2). Heidi Shepherd, Gus Langley, John Wells, Chelsea Lesage, and Alexandra Lucchessi co-star.

Devour is directed by Scott B. Hansen and written by Desiree Hansen (based on a story by Scott B. Hansen).

Get ready for some serious gore, some sick tunes, and the terrifying introduction of a monster we can only assume loves second breakfast. We’ll bring you more news on the release of Devour soon!
