Cameras have officially stopped rolling in the Hamptons—well, almost. Writer-director Eric Salberg has just wrapped the main block of principal photography on his feature directorial debut, Your Biggest Fan. It’s a sleek and unsettling horror-thriller that feels a little too relevant for the TikTok era.

Filmed on location in East Hampton, NY, the production is making waves not just for its story but for its execution; the project was powered by a majority-female crew, bringing a fresh and fearless perspective to the slasher-thriller genre.

The Story: When “Likes” Turn Lethal

You’re Biggest Fan dives headfirst into the terrifying world of parasocial relationships. It explores that blurry, dangerous line where digital intimacy ends and real-life stalking begins.

To capture that “someone is watching” vibe, cinematographer Hanuman Brown-Eagle used a voyeuristic visual style. Expect to see the story unfold through a mix of Security camera feeds, Phone POVs, Livestream aesthetics, and Gritty digital distortion.

“We wanted to build a thriller that feels uncomfortably close to the world we’re all living in right now,” says Salberg. “It’s about how digital intimacy can twist into something far more dangerous.”

The Cast: Icons and Rising Stars

The film features an impressive mix of horror royalty and fresh talent, including Cosette Hatch, Anthony Jordan Robertson “Bel-Air and 9-1-1).Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Clare Kramer also stars alongside Judson Mills, who you’ll know from “Texas Ranger.”

A Vision Driven by Women

Executive Producer Linda “Lindy” Janota is particularly proud of the team behind the lens. “This film was designed and driven by a predominantly female team,” Janota shared. “I’m incredibly proud of the vision, craftsmanship, and fearlessness everyone brought to set.”

What’s Next?

While the bulk of the movie is in the can as of late 2025, the team isn’t quite finished. They are set to return to the Hamptons in early 2026 to film one final, top-secret “special sequence” before moving into full post-production.

If you’ve ever felt a chill while looking at your phone in the dark, this movie definitely needs to go on your must-see list.
