The streaming home for horror has officially hit double digits! Shudder has been partying all year for its 10th anniversary, but if you thought they were winding down, think again. Heading into “Year Eleven,” the streaming service is promising its biggest, bloodiest lineup yet.

To celebrate, Shudder just dropped a star-studded birthday video featuring shout-outs from the directors and scream queens who made the platform a household name. But the real gift for us? A massive “sneak peek” montage of the nightmares coming our way in 2026.

The 2026 Slate: Games, Ghosts, and Gore

The teaser confirms that 2026 will be a strong year for original content. While they’re keeping plenty of secrets under wraps, here are the heavy hitters they just confirmed:

  • The Mortuary Assistant: Yes, the viral horror game that terrified every streamer on the planet is officially becoming a movie! Directed by Jeremiah Kipp (Slapface), it follows Rebecca Owens on her first night at River Fields Mortuary. She soon realizes the dead aren’t staying still, and she has to fight off literal demons—and the ones from her past—to survive the shift.

  • Mother of Flies: The latest project from the Adams Family.

  • Whistle: A high-concept supernatural thriller from Corin Hardy that’s already generating buzz on the festival circuit.

  • Night Patrol: Justin Long stars in this fun flick as a cop who joins a vampire brotherhood that serves up their own brand of street justice.

  • Honey Bunch: After a woman wakes up from a coma and seeks help at a facility. But begins to question her husband’s motives.

Why Shudder is Still King

Over the last decade, Shudder hasn’t just streamed horror; they’ve built a community. From bringing back Joe Bob Briggs to discovering global hits like Host and When Evil Lurks, they’ve become the go-to spot for fans who want more than just the mainstream jump scares.

Based on the anniversary footage, Year Eleven is leaning hard into indie creators and high-concept adaptations, ensuring the next decade of horror starts with a bang.
