If you’re a fan of “trash” cinema, grindhouse gore, or those weird late-night commercials from the 80s, we’ve got some killer news. Hart D. Fisher, the mastermind behind the American Horrors network, has officially stepped in to rescue B-Movie TV on Roku.
When founder Ken “Ace” Brewer decided to hang up his programmer hat to focus on directing his own horror films, the channel’s future looked a bit shaky. But Fisher—who has been a fan of the channel for over a decade—couldn’t let a digital sanctuary like this die.
Keeping the “Secret Sauce” Alive
For 13 years, B-Movie TV has been the ultimate destination for fans of exploitation films and low-budget gems. It’s basically a 24/7 digital drive-in. Fisher has spent the last few months learning the “Secret Sauce” from Brewer to ensure a seamless transition.
What’s staying the same?
Movies will still start on even hours, so you always know when to tune in. You can expect the same mix of retro “racy” commercials, weird trailers, and music videos between the features. It’s still a “no holds barred” lineup of Classic Horror & Sci-Fi, Kung Fu & Action, Grindhouse & Exploitation hits, “Skinemax” style late-night features, and Retro Cartoons.
A Growing Horror Empire
By adding B-Movie TV to his roster, Fisher is cementing his place as the king of independent linear streaming. He already runs American Horrors (the network that famously featured a young Billie Eilish in its 2008 opening credits), so he knows exactly how to keep the blood flowing for a loyal audience.
As Fisher put it: “Ken has been training me… so I can continue the channel exactly the way he did. We’re keeping the grindhouse popcorn flavor flowing!”
How to Watch (For Free!)
The best part? It’s not moving behind a paywall. B-Movie TV remains a free, ad-supported channel. All you have to do is search “B-Movie TV” in the Channel Store or click HERE. If you’re looking for something specific, the B-Zone and the dedicated Video-On-Demand version are still live. So, get ready to binge!
