The corporate ladder just became a lot more lethal. A striking new red-on-black poster for the upcoming horror-thriller Corporate Retreat has just arrived, featuring a chillingly minimalist image of a spoon and an eye. It’s a clear signal that this film isn’t interested in HR-approved “safe spaces.”

Mandatory Overtime, Permanent Consequences

Forget the awkward icebreakers and lukewarm coffee. Corporate Retreat takes the familiar dread of a mandatory office getaway and pushes it into a total bloodbath. Billed as a cross between the high-stakes power dynamics of “Succession” and the visceral survivalism of The Hunt, the film follows a group of elite power players to a remote destination.

While the employees expect open bars and networking, they soon discover their CEO has a much darker itinerary. Before the first slide of the morning presentation even loads, the Retreat becomes a brutal, high-stakes fight for survival.

A Heavy-Hitting Ensemble

Producer Uri Singer has assembled a cast that bridges the gap between prestige TV and indie cinema. You’ll see Alan Ruck (Succession) and Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction) bringing seasoned gravitas to the boardroom-turned-battlefield. Ashton Sanders (Moonlight) and Sasha Lane (American Honey) add a layer of raw, grounded intensity. And Elias Kacavas (“Euphoria”) joins the group, rounding out a cast that feels both “incredible” and deeply diverse in talent.

The “Scream Team” Behind the Lens

Director Aaron Fisher has recruited a powerhouse post-production team to ensure the tension is airtight. The score is handled by Anna Drubich, the composer who crafted the unsettling, claustrophobic atmosphere of Barbarian. Editor Claudia Castello—whose resume includes the high-octane pacing of Creed and the relentless tension of the Predator prequel Prey—is responsible for the film’s rhythm.

Why It’s a Must-Watch

Corporate Retreat is positioning itself as a meaner, more innovative take on the slasher genre. It functions as a sharp satire of corporate greed and “grind culture,” wrapped in a gruesome survival story. If you’ve ever felt like your boss was out to get you, this film takes that anxiety to its most terrifying logical conclusion.
