Feeling like the world isn’t dystopian enough? The post-apocalyptic action thriller Blackout has officially landed on Apple TV and Amazon Prime as of yesterday, January 27, 2026.

Thanks to a worldwide rights deal with Vista Film Sales, Glass House Distribution is bringing this gritty survival story straight to your living room. It’s part of a double-feature acquisition alongside another action flick called Last Hit, both directed by David M. Parks.

Veterans vs. The Void

Set in a world reeling from a massive nuclear crisis, Blackout isn’t just about the radiation—it’s about the people. We follow two military veterans who were hoping for a quiet return to civilian life. Instead, they get a front-row seat to the total collapse of society.

As the law of the land disappears, they’re forced into some seriously sketchy alliances just to keep breathing. If you’re a fan of the “what would I do in the end times?” genre, this one is aiming right for you. Think the tense atmosphere of 28 Days Later meets the high-stakes survivalism of Fallout.

The Squad

The film features a solid ensemble of indie stalwarts and rising talent. Mike Ferguson (Showdown at the Grand) and Twana Barnett star. And there’s LeeAnne Bauer, who didn’t just star in it—she also co-directed!

Behind the Scenes

This project is a real “boots on the ground” production under the Rad Cine Films banner. Directors David M. Parks and LeeAnne Bauer have crafted something that feels both relentless and surprisingly character-driven.

“It’s a relentless, high-stakes survival thriller that delivers on both action and character,” says David Josh Lawrence of Glass House Distribution.

How to Watch

You can now watch Blackout on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
