Forget the typical spring break tan—some college kids are about to get a permanent pale glow instead. According to Deadline, a new vampire flick is headed your way. It’s titled Young Blood and is currently filming in Key Largo.

The Big Names

The film has locked in some heavy hitters to play the “vampire godfathers.” This includes “Sons of Anarchy” star Theo Rossi, Mario Van Peebles (Jaws: The Revenge), and Derek Wilson, who plays “Tek Knight” on “The Boys“.

Joining the “vampire bait” squad is a lineup of rising stars: Myles Truitt (“Stranger Things”), Madison Wolfe (The Conjuring 2), and Genneya Walton (“Daredevil: Born Again”). Alex Aiono (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin), Marley Alia,h and Mitchell Hoog round out the cast.

Spring Break Gone Wrong

The story follows three college besties heading to Florida for the ultimate vacation. Naturally, things take a hard left when they end up stranded on a deserted island. Instead of tiki bars and beach volleyball, they’re being hunted by a pack of starving, bloodthirsty vampires. Talk about a vacation that really sucks.

The Creative Team

Ari Schlossberg, the mind behind “Harper’s Island,” is stepping into the director’s chair for the first time for Young Blood, working off his own script.

The project is being produced by WeBros Entertainment, with Michael Weiss, Andy Weiss, and Gregg Barbagallo leading the charge. Paradigm Agency is currently handling sales.

We’ll keep posted as more details surface. In the meantime, if you haven’t seen Rossi in action in “Sons of Anarchy,” you should do so now. It’s incredible. You find it on Hulu and Prime Video. The series follows Jax, a biker who struggles to balance fatherhood, leading an outlaw motorcycle club, and heartbreak. It’s also brutal.
