Daniel XIII; the result of an arcane ritual involving a King Diamond album, a box of Count Chocula, and a copy of Swank magazine, is a screenwriter, director, producer, actor, artist, and reviewer of fright flicks…Who hates ya baby?

A murderous psycho (Robert Allen Mukes, House of 1000 Corpses) resurrects his deceased brother (Ken Brewer, Death Bitch… who also directed and co-wrote the picture) via a li’l hot voodoo injection.

As fate would have it, Frater Resurgens was/is a murderous psycho as well… and it isn’t long before our demonic duo are back at a scenic local park (formerly-dead bro’s ol’ slaying grounds)… getting’ all balls deep into the killin’ biz.

But everything isn’t violets n’ victims for our fearsome family, as an absolute ass-load of bounty hunters have entered the park in the hopes of becoming wealthier than Scrooge McFuckin’ Duck by capturing those responsible for the park’s rising body count!

What follows is over an hour of kill scenes as our beastly bros dispatch every mercenary mother fucker in sight… and that is one of Return to Death Park’s strengths.

This flick is no bullshit when it comes to plot… killers kill, the ever-lovin’ end… so if you’re looking for lunatics murdering large amounts of black-clad bounty hunters, this will surely be your jam…

Additionally, it will benefit your enjoyment if you dig on S.O.V. flicks of the ‘80s and ‘90s when it comes to the production’s technical quality.

Speaking of “technical quality”, the acting here runs from amateur to rather solid… but everyone involved seem incredibly game and totally committed to puttin’ on a horror show, and that always earns a claw full of putrid points with yours cruelly!

A hurdle with the acting may also be that despite having two screenwriters, Brewer and Meri Gyetvay (additionally of Death Bitch), a lot of the dialog seems improvised, which can be a tough road to travel for the inexperienced.

My harshest criticism of Return to Death Park is that a quick kick to the costuming could have made the bounty hunters more unique… a bit of crazy visual magic if you will… or even if you won’t… that could have created stand-out hunters that lingered in the mind… but that’s my 2 cents…

If you dig on the other entries in the Death Park series, you are already all-in for Return to Death Park… and if you are new and dig the S.O.V. vibe, you may find this one a fun way to spend an hour and change.
