DeskPop Entertainment just dropped something special. Bad Voodoo officially arrived on VOD and DVD today, February 10, 2026, and it’s a total trip into the supernatural.
Marking the gritty feature debut of directors Andrew Adler and Andre Hepburn, this isn’t your average “haunted house” flick. It’s an atmospheric nightmare produced by Redemption Motion Pictures that’s already getting buzz for its “visceral” style.
Wrong House, Wrong Hostage
The story follows two escaped convicts who think they’ve found the perfect place to lay low. They break into a secluded home and take a woman named Abigail (Cristina Moody) hostage, assuming they’re the ones in control.
Big mistake. It turns out Abigail is part of a world they don’t understand. As the powers of a Voodoo Priest begin to manifest, the house transforms into a supernatural battlefield. The intruders soon realize they aren’t just fighting for their lives—they’re fighting against malevolent forces that literally feed on their guilt and their blood.
Authentic Folklore Over Hollywood Tropes
Adler and Hepburn didn’t want to make a “scary movie.” They leaned into authentic cultural folklore to keep things grounded.
“We wanted to use supernatural horror as a lens to tell a deeply human story about moral boundaries,” Adler shared. “It examines how loss can distort our sense of justice.”
The result? A movie that uses eerie atmospherics to explore the dark side of the human spirit.
Cast & Crew Credits
The film, directed by Andrew Adler and Andre Hepburn, features a great mix of veteran talent and rising stars: Manny Perez (Pride and Glory), John Fiore (The Sopranos), and Cristina Moody. The screenplay by Devin Fearn is based on a story by Marie Brandt.
