Terror Films Releasing (TFR) is diving deep into horror with its latest acquisition, Black Goat, a folk-horror nightmare from writer/director David Hinds. If you’re a fan of eerie landscapes and ancient evils, this one is definitely for you. To celebrate the announcement, they have unveiled a new clip. Watch it below.

Don’t Go Into the Woods

The film follows a young environmental engineer who heads to the mysterious town of Blackwood Falls. What starts as a standard job quickly spirals into a fight for survival as they stumble upon a local cult’s gruesome sacrifices and a demonic entity—the legendary Black Goat of the Woods.

Straight From a Nightmare

Director David Hinds didn’t just make this up—he lived it. According to Hinds, the movie was born from a vivid nightmare of being hunted through the trees by a telekinetic demon.

“Inspired by films like The Wicker Man and The Witch, Black Goat immerses the viewer in picturesque, rural landscapes as a growing sense of unease unfolds,” says Hinds. “Shot entirely on location during the heart of British winter, our team captured the essence of what it feels like to be lost in the woods.”

Vibe Check

Expect a slow-burning descent into madness. Against the backdrop of the British winter, the film promises a “winding forest path” into total darkness. It has a gritty, grounded folk-horror feel, where the environment is as dangerous as the monster itself.

Where to Watch

If you’re too impatient to wait, you’re in luck. TFR has dropped the film early on Prime Video. If you prefer other platforms, the wide release hits on February 20, 2026. You’ll be able to stream it across multiple platforms.
