This is the crossover horror fans have been dying for! Ice Nine Kills has officially joined the legendary Scream canon with their brand-new single, “Twisting the Knife,” featured in the upcoming Scream 7.
It’s a high-octane collaboration between modern metal’s biggest horror nerds and one of the most iconic film franchises of all time. Even cooler? Scream 7 star Mckenna Grace joins the band on vocals!
The Ultimate Tribute
For INK mastermind Spencer Charnas, this is a lifelong dream. Scream is literally in his DNA. He recorded Mckenna’s vocals in his home studio—the same room where he keeps an original screen-used rubber knife from the first movie!
“Scream was the first [horror movie] I saw in theaters,” Spencer shares. “Hearing the killer talk about horror movies… blew my mind.”
The track isn’t just heavy; it’s a love letter to Wes Craven, writer Kevin Williamson, and composer Marco Beltrami, blending INK’s signature chaos with those moody, atmospheric vibes we love from the films.
A Meta-Horror Music Video
The music video takes the “INKverse” lore to a whole new level. It picks up right after 2025’s “The Laugh Track” and features:
-
Roger L. Jackson (the legendary voice of Ghostface)
-
David Arquette (playing himself!)
-
Johnny Brennan (The Jerky Boys)
Mckenna Grace, a self-proclaimed INK superfan, says she channeled her inner Amy Lee and Sidney Prescott to bring the song to life.
The INK Takeover
After 2.5 years on the road with Metallica and billions of streams under their belt, Ice Nine Kills is unstoppable. From soundtracking Terrifier 3 to their Matrix-inspired “The Great Unknown,” they are the undisputed kings of the horror-metal intersection.

Slashing Its Way Into Theaters
In Scream 7, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has spent years trying to build a normal, quiet life away from the masks and the phone calls. But you can’t outrun a shadow forever. When a new Ghostface emerges, Sidney’s darkest nightmare comes true: the killer isn’t just coming for her—they’re targeting her daughter, Tatum (Isabel May). To save her family, Sidney has to dig back into the trauma of Woodsboro to stop the bloodshed for good. As they say: new year, new rules, but the same old terror.
Kevin Williamson, the man who wrote the original Scream, is finally back to direct from the script penned by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Producers include William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein.
This isn’t just another sequel; it’s a homecoming. Kevin Williamson is back to show us exactly how a meta-slasher should be done. This is one of the most highly anticipated horror events of the year. Don’t wait until the theater is full and the secrets are out—get your tickets NOW to secure your spot for the opening night event on February 27, 2026!
