If you’re a fan of movies that make your skin crawl and your brain itch, mark your calendar. Director Joshua Nelson’s latest project, Ashes of Vengeance, is officially hitting digital and streaming platforms this January via BayView Entertainment.

A Healing Retreat Gone Wrong

The story kicks off with a group of women heading to a secluded house to process a shared trauma and find some peace. That “safe space” gets trashed pretty quickly when an uninvited group of men shows up. What starts as an awkward encounter quickly escalates into a high-stakes standoff where secrets come out, and the tension reaches a breaking point. The studio is calling it a “psychological powder keg,” and honestly? That sounds about right.

The Team Behind the Tension

Joshua Nelson (who both wrote and directed) is becoming a pro at these kinds of tight, character-driven suspense stories. For this round, he’s brought in Katie Raulerson, Nicole Ciuppa, and Isabelle Rayne to lead the cast.

Why You’ll Care

This film is less about cheap jump scares and more about that claustrophobic, “nowhere to run” feeling. The good news is you don’t have to wait long to see it. So, grab some popcorn and get comfy, Ashes of Vingence is out on digital and stream services on January 27, 2026, via BayView Entertainment.
