If you thought Grace’s wedding night was a disaster, you haven’t seen anything yet. Searchlight Pictures has officially opened the gates: Tickets for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come are now available on Fandango!
To celebrate the ticket drop, Fandango just released an eight-minute-long exclusive extended sneak peek that proves this sequel is trading the tutorial level for a global boss fight. Watch it below and see some sister bonding involving sharp objects.
From Survival to Succession
We all remember the iconic final shot of the 2019 original: Grace (Samara Weaving) sitting on the porch of a burning mansion, covered in her in-laws, smoking a cigarette, and totally exhausted.
It turns out the Le Domas family was just one branch of a much bigger, much deadlier tree. By surviving, Grace hasn’t just won her freedom—she’s inadvertently triggered the “next level” of a massive, global game. Grace is now competing to survive and win a seat on the “High Seat of the Council”—the shadowy group of elite families that actually run the world.
However, this time, she isn’t doing it alone. Grace has been forced to team up with her estranged sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton). The new clip shows them chained together, performing some “battlefield triage” while prepping for a game of Hide and Seek with international stakes. It’s not just one crazy family anymore. Four rival dynasties are hunting Grace and Faith, and they’ll do anything to take the throne—and Grace’s head.
A Cast of Horror Royalty
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (the Radio Silence duo) aren’t holding back. They’ve described this as a massive expansion of the lore—think John Wick world-building, but with more lost limbs and dark comedy.
The cast is absolutely stacked. You’ve got Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood officially entering the game. Kevin Durand, Shawn Hatosy, and Néstor Carbonell are along for the fight. And get this: body-horror legend David Cronenberg makes a rare, creepy acting appearance.
