Get ready, horror fans, because the first trailer for The Cure just dropped, and it looks absolutely wild! Leading the charge is modern scream king David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) alongside Twilight’s Ashley Greene. They star as the ultimate “nightmare parents” in this new sci-fi horror flick from director Nancy Leopardi. And honestly, we are here for it.

Billionaire Problems

The story follows 16-year-old Ally Braun (Samantha Cochran), an adopted teen struggling with a mysterious illness. She thinks she’s being taken care of. Still, she quickly discovers a terrifying truth: her bio-tech billionaire parents (Dastmalchian and Greene) aren’t just “helping” her—they’re harvesting her blood for their own twisted, high-stakes experiments.

Director Nancy Leopardi calls the film a “satirical take on the modern billionaire class cloaked in a crowd-pleasing thriller,” and after seeing the trailer, it’s clear this is going to be a sharp, bloody ride.

The Powerhouse Team

The cast is stacked with rising talent, including Sydney Taylor (American Born Chinese), Tyler Lawrence Gray (Wolfpack), and Dylan Flashner (Running on Empty).

The script comes from the minds of Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer (the duo behind Steven Soderbergh’s Unsane), so expect plenty of psychological twists and turns.
