The Vatican Tapes, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, and the Syfy series “The Magicians,” what do all these things have in common? They all star Scream Queen Olivia Taylor Dudley. Dudley is at it again with the new sci-fi horror-comedy Touch Me, and she sat down with me to talk about it.

Touch Me, written and directed by Addison Heimann, tells an out-of-this-world tale of a woman, Joey (Dudley), her best friend (Jordan Gavaris), and a kinky alien played by Lou Taylor Pucci. Two co-dependent best friends become addicted to the heroin-like touch of the alien who has a talent for mind-blowing sex that involves a whole lot of tentacles.

The film mixes death, goo, neon lights, and sex, but it delves into so much more. Themes of anxiety, depression, and desperation run deep. And the sex, well, it comes across more like art than a physical act. Those are a few things Dudley and I discussed during our interview, which you can watch below.

Touch Me should definitely be on your must-see list, especially if you are looking for something fresh and wild. It premieres exclusively in New York on March 20th before screening in limited theatres on March 27th. Or if you want to watch it from the comfort of your couch, it arrives On Demand and Digital on April 2nd.
