However, the plot is simple: a space parasite lands in a small town, infects a wealthy local (Michael Rooker), and starts a buffet line where the main course is… everyone. So, it’s up to Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) and the ever-resilient Starla Grant (Elizabeth Banks) to stop the town from becoming one giant, collective organism.
