Something very bad is going to happen, and let’s be honest—that is exactly why we’re here. Whether it’s a giant snake with a taste for film crews or a haunted hotel suite in the Irish countryside, the streaming gods have decided to bless us with a particularly dark weekend.

Here is your guide to the best horror, thrillers, and “don’t look under the bed” content hitting your screens right now.

Anaconda (2025)

-Where to Watch: Netflix (Released March 25)

-The Vibe: Meta-Comedy / Creature Feature

-The Threat: A massive, very hungry, non-CGI snake.

-The Hook: Jack Black and Paul Rudd play two besties trying to remake the 1997 original. It’s a 9/10 ride that balances midlife crises with high-octane slasher energy. If you like your scares with a side of “how did they film that?”, this is your Saturday night plan.

Scarpetta

-Where to Watch: Prime Video

-The Vibe: Forensic Thriller / Serial Killer Mystery series

-The Threat: A killer mirroring a cold case from decades ago.

-The Hook: Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis as sisters? Yes, please. It’s gritty, atmospheric, and perfect for anyone who prefers their horror grounded in forensic science and family trauma.

Deep Water (2026 – Dustin Ferguson Version)

-Where to Watch: VOD / Digital Platforms

-The Vibe: Survival Thriller

-The Threat: Engine failure on a luxury yacht and the “dead in the water” desperation that follows.

-The Hook: Not to be confused with the upcoming Renny Harlin blockbuster, this indie thriller is out now and focuses on the claustrophobia of being trapped at sea with people you thought you liked.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen

-Where to Watch: Netflix (8-Episode Limited Series)

-The Vibe: Psychological Horror / Slow-Burn Dread

-The Hook: Created by Haley Z. Boston (Brand New Cherry Flavor), the series follows an engaged couple, Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco), during the week leading up to their wedding at a remote forest estate.

-The “Bad” Part: Rachel is plagued by the bone-deep certainty that her “happily ever after” is destined for a bloodbath. With Jennifer Jason Leigh and Ted Levine rounding out the cast, expect a claustrophobic masterclass in paranoia.
