Forget the fear of a blank page—in the world of indie horror, the “end” of your story might be the end of your life. MPX has officially announced the US digital and physical release of Rushabh Patel‘s sold-out hit at Dances With FilmsI Know Exactly How You Die.

Write or Die

Rushabh Patel stars as Rian Burman, a “hack” horror novelist who is struggling with two things: a devastating breakup and a catastrophic case of writer’s block. In a desperate bid for inspiration, he checks into a remote motel. He hopes to finish his latest manuscript about a woman named Katie who a sadistic stalker is hunting.

As Rian types, his scenes begin to manifest in the real world. At the very same motel, the actual Katie is hiding from a deranged ex-mailman turned serial killer. When the author and his protagonist finally meet, they realize a terrifying truth: Rian isn’t just writing a book—he’s architecting a bloodbath in real-time. It is a cautionary tale for anyone who has said their characters “speak to them.”

Directed by and starring Rushabh Patel, I Know Exactly How You Die balances indie mayhem with dark laughs. It proves that while deadlines are stressful, having your villain show up for an unscripted cameo is much, much worse.

Patel stars alongside Daniel Boyd, Stephanie Gomes Hogan, Rawya El Chab, and Summer Hernandez.
