Grab your flashlights and double-check your security cameras: Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is officially gearing up for its streaming debut on Peacock this April.
Picking up a year after the first nightmare, Mike (Josh Hutcherson) is just trying to live a normal, non-haunted life. However, naturally, his younger sister, Abby, pulls a classic little-sibling move and sneaks out to find her animatronic “pals.” Her late-night field trip blows the doors wide open on the FNAF lore, dragging the terror out of the pizzeria and onto the streets.
A Cast That is Pure Horror Fan-Fiction
The cast is stacked. It’s a verified fever dream for horror nerds and pop culture junkies alike. We’ve got a return of survivors, Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard. New faces join the team: Skeet Ulrich (Scream royalty), McKenna Grace, and the legendary Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park). The star-studded cast doesn’t stop there. Oh, and there are new animatronics voiced by Megan Fox and MatPat.
Behind the Seams
I recently had the absolute pleasure of diving headfirst into the making of this nightmare during my exclusive interview with the film’s costume designer, Whitney Anne Adams, who broke down how much wardrobe matters.
It’s Movie Time!
So, pop some popcorn, turn out the lights, and hit play. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is coming to life on Peacock on April 3, 2026.
