If you’ve been craving a return to the golden age of monster movies—where the blood is real, and the monsters aren’t just pixels—strap in. Well Go USA Entertainment is bringing the high-altitude horror-thriller The Yeti to Blu-ray and DVD.
Trespassing in the Wrong Neighborhood
An oil tycoon and a world-renowned adventurer vanish into the brutal, icy wilderness of remote northern Alaska. It’s up to a hand-picked rescue team to find them.
The team is prepared for the sub-zero temperatures and the harsh terrain. However, they are not prepared for the fact that they’ve just stepped into the hunting grounds of a beast. Suddenly, the rescue mission becomes a desperate, blood-splattered struggle to stay off the menu.
Why It’s a Must-Watch
Directed by Emmy winner William Pisciotta and Gene Gallerano, The Yeti was designed as an “elevated creature feature.” The filmmakers skipped the heavy CGI in favor of gruesome, practical effects, real gore for a real sense of dread.
A Killer Ensemble Cast
The rescue mission (and the inevitable carnage) features some serious genre heavyweights, including Brittany Allen (Dexter: Original Sin), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption, Tales from the Crypt), and Corbin Bernsen (Psych, The Dentist). Eric Nelsen (A Walk Among the Tombstones) and Jim Cummings (Halloween Kills) round out the cast, along with Christina Bennett Lind (House of Cards).
Coming ot A TV Near You
The Yeti lands on Blu-ray and DVD on May 19. Can’t wait that long? No worries, it’s out on Digital right now.
