Class is back in session at Nevermore Academy. And the guest list is starting to look like a Hollywood Walk of Fame. Netflix has officially announced that “Wednesday Season 3 has added three heavy hitters to its ever-expanding roster.

Joining the Addams Family universe in guest roles are Lena Headey, James Lance, and Andrew McCarthy. While specific character details are being guarded more closely than a Thing-related secret, we know they’ll be walking the halls of Nevermore as the school welcomes a fresh batch of faculty and students.

The New Faculty

Netflix is keeping us in the dark, but the pedigree of these newcomers suggests some serious gravitas:

-Lena Headey: Most of us know her as the woman who made “shame” a household catchphrase as Cersei Lannister in “Game of Thrones.” If anyone can match Wednesday’s cold stare, it’s her. You can also catch her in the upcoming thriller Ballistic, hitting theaters on April 17.

-James Lance: Moving from the press room to the classroom, the “Ted Lasso” standout (best known as the impeccably coiffed Trent Crimm) brings his Emmy-nominated charm to the supernatural set.

-Andrew McCarthy: A true 80s icon (Pretty in Pink, Weekend at Bernie’s), McCarthy has recently been dominating the small screen in “The Resident.”

A “Who’s Who” of Genre Royalty

These three aren’t the only ones moving into the neighborhood. Season 3 is shaping up to be a massive crossover event for horror and fantasy fans alike. Previously announced newcomers include “Stranger Things'” Winona Ryder and Chris Sarandon,Princess Bride and Fright Night legend. “Penny Dreadful” star Eva Green is joining as Morticia’s sister, Ophelia Frump. They are being joined by Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.

Between Cersei Lannister, Trent Crimm, and Winona Ryder, Nevermore is officially the most over-qualified high school on the planet. Keep your eyes peeled for a release date—things are about to get weird(er).

Why We’re Watching

With production shifting to the misty landscapes of Ireland and a cast that spans from Westeros to Richmond FC, Season 3 is clearly aiming for a bigger, darker scale. Whether these newcomers are here to help Wednesday solve a mystery or end up as another tally on a monster’s scorecard remains to be seen.
