In a move that is either a stroke of marketing genius or a terrifying look into our corporate-overlord future, the satirical superheroes of “The Boys“ are officially dropping into Call of Duty: Mobile. The crossover, launching this summer to coincide with the game’s Season 5, marks the final countdown for the Amazon Prime series.
The in-game integration is set to feature three playable characters (operators), themed bundles, and weapons that look like they were plucked straight from a Vought International laboratory.
The Call of Vought: COD Mobile Integration
While the desktop version of Call of Duty has already played host to Homelander’s ego, this is the first time the “Supes” are making a dedicated stand on mobile.
The Roster: While Activision is keeping the final lineup under wraps, rumors (and common sense) suggest we’ll see Homelander and Starlight, with fans holding out hope that Billy Butcher finally gets his own skin to settle some scores.
The Loot: Expect custom finishing moves, weapon blueprints, and charms that would make Ashley Barrett have a panic attack.
A Final Season of “Fuckin’ Diabolical” Proportions
The crossover comes at the perfect time. The fifth and final season of “The Boys” premiered on April 8, 2026, on Prime Video. If you haven’t started your binge yet, here is the state of things:
Homelander has turned the world into his personal playground. Annie is desperately trying to mount a rebellion while the rest of the crew—Hughie, M.M., and Frenchie—are rotting in a “Freedom Camp.” However, Butcher is back, and he’s packing a virus capable of wiping every Supe off the face of the Earth.
The Merchandise Industrial Complex
True to the show’s spirit of rampant commercialism, the Call of Duty collab is just the tip of the iceberg. This year, you can fully “Vought-ify” your life with Dr. Squatch, who is releasing “Electric Havoc” soap in May. Exclusive costumes from Fun.com and apparel from Ripple Junction. There are also Limited-edition figures from Thrilljoy and Youtooz.
“‘The Boys’ has become a fearless cultural force,” says Jamie Stevens of Sony Pictures. “For the final season, we focused on brands that authentically align with the series’ bold tone.”
Want More Butcher? Try VR
If you can’t wait for the summer Call of Duty drop, you can step into the boots of a vigilante right now. The stealth-action VR game The Boys: Trigger Warning recently launched on Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR2. It features a brand-new story and voice acting from the show’s cast, letting you choose between “stealth” or “complete fucking chaos.”
Whether you’re head-popping in VR, dropping into a battle royale, or watching Butcher’s final stand on Prime, 2026 is officially the Summer of the “Supe. “Just remember: don’t meet your heroes, especially if they can laser you from orbit.
New episodes of “The Boys” drop every Wednesday through May 20.
