Blumhouse’s new killer series “The Horror of Dolores Roach” has now premiered on Prime Video.
In the series, created by Aaron Mark, Dolores Roach (Justina Machado) is released after an unjust 16-year prison sentence, and she returns to a gentrified Washington Heights. Dolores reunites with an old stoner friend, Luis (Alejandro Hernandez), who lets her live and work as a masseuse in the basement under his empanada shop. When the promise of her newfound stability is quickly threatened, “Magic Hands” Dolores is driven to shocking extremes to survive.
We sat down for an interview with the series’ star, Justina Machado, who has appeared in films such as The Purge: Anarchy, The Call, and Final Destination 2, as well as series such as “Six Feet Under,” “E.R.,” and “Jane the Virgin,” to discuss the series, her character, cannibalism, and more.
