We’ve been long overdue for a new installment of the Final Destination franchise. In fact, it has been twelve long years since we witnessed death’s “grand design” unfold. But it won’t be long now, with Final Destination 6 already in pre-production.
Recently, the film’s producer, Craig Perry, teased on Twitter that one scene of the new movie is set in a tattoo parlor. If you’re like me, tattooed and pierced, this is an unnerving thought. There are some seriously twisted ways that bad things could happen.
'FINAL DESTINATION 6' will include a tattoo parlor kill sequence.

Final Destination 6 will also be switching up the formula that it is famous for, according to creator Jeffrey Reddick.
“I will say that it’s not just going to be another kind of ‘we set up a group of people, they cheat death, and then just death gets them.’ And there’s one wrinkle that we kind of added to every movie to kind of like change it up a little bit: this one is… a true Final Destination movie, but it doesn’t follow that kind of formula that we’ve kind of established.”
Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) is producing Final Destination 6, which was written by Guy Busick (Scream) and Lori Evans Taylor (“Wicked Games”). Dianne McGunigle (Cop Car) and Final Destination franchise producers Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor will also produce.
