The next sequel in the ‘Underworld’ franchise, titled ‘Underworld: Next Generation’, begins filming this October in Prague. Anna Foerster, who worked with Roland Emmerich on the great disaster movie ‘The Day After Tomorrow’, will serve as director for the sequel.
Kate Beckinsale is returning as the ass kicking lead character, Selene. Theo James will also be back for his role, as David. ‘Next Generation’ will focus on Selene and hybrid Michael Corvin’s (Scott Speedman) daughter Eve, played by India Eisley.
‘Underworld: Next Generation’ will arrive in theaters on October 21, 2016.
