Award-winning filmmaker Julia Marchese will bring her Stephen King adaptation, I Know What You Need, to the inaugural KingCon convention, which will be held October 24-26 at the Linq Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marchese will be in attendance.

Set in the 1970s, I Know What You Need is a chilling after-school special filmed on location at the University of Maine, the exact setting mentioned in Stephen King’s story. The film has garnered critical acclaim, winning over 16 awards, including Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Production Design. The film recently screened at San Diego Comic-Con and can be streamed on Arrow‘s Streaming Service.

Marchese will return to the Somerville Theatre in Somerville, Massachusetts, from October 27 to 30 for her 4th annual Halloween Hullabaloo. This four-night horror double-feature event is the perfect way to get into the spooky spirit.
