The producers behind Longlegs are back with a brand new nightmare. Hide and Don’t Speak is officially filming in Northern Ireland. Variety reports the story draws from the eerie internet game Hitori Kakurenbo.
Don’t Get Found
Six reckless teenagers decide to play a viral Japanese ritual. They summon a vengeful spirit for a lethal game of hide-and-seek. Silence is mandatory, but survival is never guaranteed. This supernatural horror film promises high tension and even higher stakes.
The Doomed Players
The cast features a mix of rising stars and familiar faces: Tanner Buchanan from Cobra Kai stars alongside Quvenzhané Wallis, Momona Tamada, and Garrett Wareing. Kaitlyn Kemp and John Hewson round out the cast.
Behind the Lens
Alexander J. Farrell directs this chilling descent into madness. He co-wrote the script with his frequent partner, Greer Ellison. Heavyweight producers like Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger are leading the project.
Market Madness
The film heads to the Cannes film market next month. Mister Smith Entertainment will handle all international sales. UTA and Range Select are managing the rights within the United States. Expect things to get very quiet, very soon. We’ll update you on Hide and Don’t Speak as soon as more details become available. In the meantime, you can catch Buchanan in action on “Cobra Kai” on Netflix.
