A dark figure leaves a pile of bodies in his wake in the horror-thriller Dead of the Night, arriving in theaters this November. The movie stars Dermot Mulroney alongside Scott Grimes, Jake Busey, and Kirrilee Berger. Professional wrestling legend Chris Jericho also stars and serves as an executive producer.
Sheriff Races Against Growing Paranoia
Director Derek Sulek co-wrote this atmospheric murder mystery. In the story, a mutilated teenage body shatters the peace of a small community. Paranoia consumes the town as more gruesome killings follow. Sheriff Weaver, played by Mulroney, races to identify the ruthless killer. Meanwhile, his daughter Kelly starts her own investigation into the deaths. She soon suspects that a far more sinister force is at play.
Talented Director Crafts Los Angeles Thriller
Sulek is a Los Angeles filmmaker and co-owner of Fade to Black Films. Previously, he directed thrillers like Trapped in the Cabin and Chaos on the Farm. Additionally, he produced films such as The Walls Are Watching and Aloha with Love. For this project, the real-life Night Stalker era heavily inspired the narrative. Thus, shooting in Los Angeles with local talent helped build the story’s intense unease.
Release Schedule Announced for Theatres and Demand
Horror fans can catch Dead of the Night exclusively in theaters starting November 13, 2026. However, viewers who miss the theatrical run can watch it a little later. The film will officially launch on demand on January 12, 2027. Level 33 Entertainment is handling distribution in both the U.S. and Canada.
