Numerous reports and rumors have occurred over the years about movies plagued by paranormal activity. This time, the movie Devon is the subject of debate. Directed by JWoww, a post from actress Tara Rule about the found-footage film may have captured a haunting.
Rule caught something on video while filming in the infamous Pennhurst Asylum in Pennsylvania. She took to Instagram to share the video, which reportedly features a ghostly figure in a window. She also warns that she is getting word that people are experiencing strange phenomena while watching the movie.
Rule is not the only one in the film who reports paranormal activity. Many of the cast and crew also had their own experiences. This is Pennhurst, after all; it’s one of the most well-known paranormal locations in the world. Did Rule capture a ghost? Is it just a promotional stunt? You will have to judge for yourself. In the movie, Devon’s parents have never stopped searching for answers after she disappears from a notorious asylum. Years after the incident, a mysterious website draws five adventurers to the abandoned asylum where she was last seen. Armed with cameras, they plunge into the darkness to hunt for clues, unaware they are about to descend into horror.
The cast includes Tara Rule as Kat Rose, Lauren Carlin as Carly Carmichael, Steven Etienne as William Edwards, Hank Santos as Jared Stevens, and Rotisha Geter as Alison Roberts.
