Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for “Prime Target,” a gripping new thriller starring Leo Woodall (“The White Lotus”) and Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam).
Created by Steve Thompson (“Sherlock”), the series follows Edward Brooks, a brilliant young mathematician on the verge of a groundbreaking discovery. However, as he nears a breakthrough that could revolutionize computer security, Edward finds himself the target of a sinister conspiracy.
When NSA agent Taylah Sanders is assigned to monitor Edward’s activities. An unlikely alliance forms as they work together to unravel the mystery and expose the forces trying to silence him.
The cast includes BAFTA Award winner Stephen Rea (The Crying Game) and BAFTA winner David Morrissey (“The Walking Dead”). Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton (The Regime) and BAFTA Award winner Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen) also star. Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), BAFTA Award winner Harry Lloyd (“Game of Thrones”), Ali Suliman (“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon), and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter) round out the cast.
Prime Target is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. Ed Rubin serves as executive producer for New Regency. Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Marina Brackenbury serves as executive producer for Scott Free Productions.
The series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on January 22nd. The first two episodes will launch simultaneously, followed by one episode weekly every Wednesday through March 5th.
