The year’s most highly anticipated horror movie, Wolf Man, will soon bare its teeth in theaters. A new featurette has been unleashed before its arrival, teasing that “everything changes under a Wolf Moon.” Watch as writer-director Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man) and the cast discuss the transformation from man to beast.
The action-packed film stars Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Things) as a husband and father who inherits his remote childhood home after his father vanishes. With his marriage to his wife (Emmy winner Julia Garner (Ozark) fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth; Hullraisers).
But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an animal after an accident. Desperate, they barricade themselves inside the home as the creature stalks the perimeter. However, as the night continues, Blake behaves strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable. Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than outside danger.
The film co-stars Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast, Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man), and Milo Cawthorne (Shortland Street).
Wolf Man is produced by Blumhouse founder and CEO Jason Blum p.g.a., and Ryan Gosling (The Fall Guy, Lost River) and is executive produced by Leigh Whannell, Beatriz Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Ken Kao. Universal Pictures and Blumhouse present a Gosling/Waypoint Entertainment production in association with Cloak & Co.
