The indie horror Human Centipede may be the most stomach-churning movie ever made. The thought of being connected mouth to butt to someone leaves me nauseous. The mastermind behind the franchise, Tom Six, is back with a new movie, The Onania Club. And it is already being described as more shocking, if that’s even possible.
The trailer has been released, and it is 90% self-stimulation, 10% body horror, and 100% shaky cam. This is a low-budget film whose storyline walks the thin line between film and porn. It’s no surprise that he’s having a problem getting it released.
The Onania Club follows a group of Los Angeles women who become sexually aroused by acts of terrorism, injuries, and atrocities. They form a club, and there’s no way out. The cast includes Jessica Morris, Darcy DeMoss, Johanna Sturgeon, Erica Petrol, and Karen Strassman.
During an interview with LADbible last year, Six described the film as “the ultimate satire of our time. The elites, religion, Covid, Black Swan events, conspiracy theories, the Illuminati.” He also revealed that private screenings of the completed film have taken place, with attendees reportedly “blown away” by its content.
Despite finishing production in 2020, The Onania Club has yet to secure a release. Six expressed frustration with distributors, claiming they have become “the new censors,” ignoring, ridiculing, and patronizing him due to fear and ignorance. He emphasized the demand for the film from his fans, stating that “millions of fans have been screaming for this movie for five years now, and they just don’t give a f**k.”
Six’s frustration is palpable, and the longer the delay continues, the more likely fans will lose hope of ever seeing the film. He questioned his future as a filmmaker, asking, “Who is going to finance my films if there is no serious distributor that wants to release them? I live for making movies. Instead of fighting for The Onania Club for the past years, I could have made at least two more films.”
As a last resort, Six is reportedly working on a “shocking tell-all documentary,” which he describes as his “final hope” for getting The Onania Club released. He ominously added, “You know what they say. There is nothing more dangerous than a man who has nothing to lose.”
Will fans ever see the movie released? At the moment, that’s unknown, but we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, watch the trailer below, but be warned—it’s extremely NSFW. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
