New Film Festival Will Celebrate Eric Roberts’ Impressive Acting Career

This February, IndiePix Unlimited, the SVOD service available on Amazon Prime Video, proudly announces the first-ever  Eric Roberts Film Festival beginning on February 28. This celebration honors the remarkable four-decade career of one of the world’s most prolific actors.   

With over 735 screen credits and counting, Eric  Roberts has established himself as a versatile and enduring figure in the entertainment industry. His relentless work ethic and adaptability have allowed him to excel in various genres, from action and drama to cult horror and independent productions.   

The inaugural festival, launching on February 28th, features ten of Roberts’ recent and classic films, showcasing his diverse talents. From the “Sleeping with the Enemy-inspired thriller A Fatal Obsession to the restored cult classic American Strays and the 2024 medieval action flick Devil’s Knight starring Kevin Sorbo and Angie Everhart, the festival offers a comprehensive look at Roberts’ impressive filmography. Fans of the “Stalked By My Doctor” series will also be delighted to see Roberts reprise his sinister Dr. Albert Beck role in “Stalked By My Doctor: A Sleepwalker’s Nightmare.”

About Eric Roberts:

Eric Roberts, brother of Julia Roberts and father of Emma Roberts, has enjoyed a long and varied acting career. He gained early recognition with his breakthrough role in King of the Gypsies (1978), earning a Golden Globe nomination. Notable performances in Star 80 (1983) and Runaway Train (1985) followed, with the latter earning him an Academy Award nomination.  

Throughout the 80s, Roberts was considered a rising star, but personal challenges led him to focus on independent films and television.
