The paranormal community has been left haunted by the charges faced by Aaron Goodwin’s wife. Aaron Goodwin, known for being a long-time part of the “Ghost Adventures” crew, is in shock. His wife, Victoria, was reportedly arrested on March 6 on charges connected to a “murder for hire” plot, which aimed to turn Aaron Goodwin into a ghost.
ET reports that police at a Florida prison stumbled across Victoria’s messages to an inmate there. Victoria and the inmate had begun negotiations for the murder as far back as in October of 2024. She offered a mere $11,515 for the murder of her husband.
One message from Victoria to the inmate reportedly said, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” Chilling, right?
Victoria had reportedly given the hitman details about Aaron’s location during his travels and even sent the hitman a $2,500 down payment.
Reports state that Victoria was unhappy in her marriage with Aaron and wanted to leave. Instead of divorcing the ghost hunter, she hired someone to take him out. After the messages were discovered on the inmate’s phone, Victoria was arrested and held on charges of “solicitation to commit murder” and “conspiracy to commit murder”. She was being held on a $100,000 bail at the time of her arrest. She has continued to deny that she ever planned on going through with it and that it was just a way for her to cope.
During Victoria’s correspondence with the prisoner, Aaron was oblivious to the plans she had in store for him. The couple even shared posts on social media about how well their marriage was doing during that time. Aaron and Victoria were married in August 2022 at the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.
