LeftField Media has officially announced the launch of KPEX: Korean Pop Culture Expo, a premier three-day festival set to transform New York City’s Javits Center over Memorial Day Weekend, May 29-31, 2027. The groundbreaking expo aims to unite lovers of K-Pop, K-Dramas, K-Horror, K-Comics, K-Games, K-Food, and more under one massive roof.
Over 100 Hours of Entertainment and Nightly Concerts
KPEX will pack over 100 hours of programming into a single unforgettable weekend. Daytime attendees can hit panel discussions. There will be exclusive premiere screenings, interactive workshops, star-studded autograph sessions, and a show floor. All bursting with unique shopping experiences. However, once the sun sets, each evening will culminate in a showstopping concert series. That includes top-tier musical artists traveling directly from Seoul to New York City.
Industry Heavyweights Drive Authentic Global Impact
The convention is built in partnership with Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and webcomic publisher Ize Press. KPEX seeks to bridge the gap between passion and industry. Beyond serving as a vibrant fan convention, the event is also designed to foster global media exposure and cross-border commercial opportunities. Cultural agency partners, including Infinitize and IW Group, are collaborating with the team to ensure the event remains authentically rooted in the Korean community and fandom.
Ticket Information and Launch Timeline
Following the record-breaking success of LeftField Media’s 2026 Anime NYC, which drew over 172,000 attendees to the Javits Center, KPEX looks to establish a permanent home for Korean pop culture in America.
