Written and directed by Saulnier, the feature transforms a seasonal haunt into the backdrop for a relentless, high-stakes narrative. Slayground takes its name from the fictional immersive haunted house where the lead character works. The plot centers on a fugitive played by Cory Michael Smith. He becomes the prime suspect in a high-profile mass murder investigation. However, after making a desperate escape from law enforcement custody, he flees into the night to evade a massive, multi-agency search. As he scrambles to dodge authorities and clear his name, the attraction’s terrifying maze becomes a central pressure cooker for the narrative.
