Get ready for one bloody, brutal Halloween! Universal Studios has officially announced that Art the Clown will be bringing his gruesome brand of terror to Halloween Horror Nights 2025! That’s right, a brand-new Terrifier-themed haunted house will be opening!
Double the Terror: Coast to Coast!
The nightmare kicks off at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 29th. Then things begin at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 4th. That’s right – this horrifying house will be available on both coasts, so no one is safe from Art’s sadistic fun!
Guests will bravely venture into Art the Clown’s Funhouse, first seen in Terrifier 2. Inside, you will come face-to-face with familiar nightmares like Vicky. You’ll experience the infamous bathroom scene and even a twisted Christmas-themed nightmare. Universal’s chilling description warns, “Try your luck against Art the Clown in the Terrifier funhouse. You’ll witness his grotesque handiwork of torture and be exposed to the spatter of his victims. It’s a whole new level of gore!”
The Reign of Terror Continues
Franchise creator Damien Leone first unleashed Art the Clown in Terrifier back in 2016. It was followed by the hugely successful Terrifier 2 in 2022. Let’s not forget about the recently released Terrifier 3. It proved once again that audiences can’t get enough of Art’s creepy charm.
The new Terrifier house joins an already terrifying lineup of previously announced IP-based houses, including Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Jason Universe. While details for the Five Nights at Freddy’s house are still under wraps, it has been confirmed for both Hollywood and Orlando. Original houses revealed so far include El Artista: A Spanish Haunting and Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters.
Orlando’s Gothic Nightmare & More!
For those heading to Universal Orlando, it was also announced at this year’s Spooky Empire HHN panel that the overarching theme for the event will be “The Conservatory.” Prepare for a gothic atmosphere featuring menacing gargoyles, stunning stained glass, creeping vines, and intricate architecture that promises to be both beautiful and bone-chilling.
Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights will run for a staggering 48 select nights, from August 29th through November 2nd, featuring 10 terrifying haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and much, much more. And they never disappoint.
