One of my favorite parts about my job is that I get to meet amazing people. One of those is Scream Queen Sadie Katz. I first interviewed her back in 2017. Now, I’ve had the pleasure of catching up with the talented star, who is also an amazing person – kind, funny, and badass. I sat down with Sadie not only to catch up on what she’s been up to, but also to discuss her two most recent films, Night Carnage and Clutch.
In Night Carnage, directed by Thomas J. Churchill, Katz and Mike Ferguson play members of the mysterious Knight Society, an ancient organization. Together, they take on the epic task of training none other than the great-grandson of the Legendary Van Helsing! The movie features both vampires and werewolves, so get ready for bloodshed! Night Carnage promises to be a treat for genre fans who miss the days when movies were mean, messy, and too loud to ignore. With neon grime, splatter-core energy, and retro horror DNA, this film appears to be built to deliver. And with Katz and Ferguson front and center, you can expect nothing short of brutal chaos! Night Carnage will be unleashed on July 29 from Lionsgate.
Katz also stars in the action-thriller Clutch, a thriller that sees a ride-share driver hijacked by a criminal on the run from his crime boss, setting in motion a series of events that place both their lives in peril. Katz stars alongside Kaiwi Lyman and genre legend Vernon Wells in the film, written and directed by Michael Merino. Watch this action-packed, intense film now on VOD and digital.
Sadie Katz has seventy credits to her name, including Wrong Turn 6, Wolf/Man, and Blood Feast. She also has twelve more upcoming projects. Be sure to follow her on social media for regular updates and more. However, don’t worry – we will continue to share news as it becomes available.
