Prepare yourself for a grueling and emotional journey. A new clip for Stephen King’s classic dystopian novel, The Long Walk, has just been released, offering a chilling glimpse into this harrowing tale of survival.

A Deadly March for Survival

If you’re unfamiliar with the story, it’s as bleak as it is captivating. In a future America, 100 teenage boys are forced into a brutal, non-stop walking contest. The rules are simple: you can’t stop, and if you fall below a certain speed, you’re out—permanently. The prize for the single survivor is a wish granted. But it comes at the horrifying cost of the other 99 boys’ lives.

We follow the march through the eyes of Raymond Garraty (played by Cooper Hoffman), a resilient 16-year-old walker joined by a cast of characters who are both good and sinister.

A Powerful Cast and Crew

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, known for his work on the Hunger Games franchise, so you can be assured it’s in good hands. JT Mollner wrote the screenplay.

In addition to Cooper Hoffman, the impressive cast includes David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyout, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick, Roman Griffin Davis, and horror legends Judy Greer and Mark Hamill.

So get ready to witness this brutal and thought-provoking story when The Long Walk hits theaters on September 12, 2025!
