Dark Star Pictures has just acquired the North American rights to the psychological thriller, The Disinvited, and you can catch it in an exclusive theatrical release in Los Angeles this November before it hits digital platforms.

The film has already been generating some serious buzz. It took home the Audience Award for Best Picture at the Dances With Films festival. It has earned praise for its intense story and outstanding performances.

The movie’s a gripping story about Carl, who crashes a wedding and tries to reconnect with old friends. But what starts as a hopeful reunion quickly spirals into a terrifying weekend of paranoia, betrayal, and violence. It’s the kind of slow-burning nightmare that you won’t be able to look away from.

The film stars Sam Daly (The Office, Bel-Air) in a role that’s already being called career-defining, alongside a talented cast including Dani Reynolds, Ryan Vincent, and Alana Johnston.

Director Devin Lawrence and the team behind The Disinvited couldn’t be happier with Dark Star Pictures as their partner. This indie horror film was clearly made with a passion for the genre. We can’t wait to see it hit theaters and digital platforms this fall.
