Gunnar is back again after teaming up with CD PROJEKT RED to create a set of gaming glasses befitting the best monster hunters the world has seen, Geralt of Rivia and his adopted daughter Ciri. With The Witcher IV currently in development, fans of the White Wolf or the Lion Cub of Cintra will have to consider adding these glasses to their monster-hunting kit!
In case you’re not familiar with what Gunnar does, Gunnar Optiks manufactures glasses that protect your eyes from the blue light emitted by the screens of monitors, phones, computers, and TVs. Their glasses are used by gaming industry professionals, animation studios (such as DreamWorks), eSports athletes, and even the military —pretty much anyone who has to stare at screens for hours.
Now, onto the White Wolf and Ciri glasses! The White Wolf glasses are in an aviator-style stainless steel frame with leather wrapped around part of the arms, reminiscent of how some great swords had leather wrapped around the base of the blade and flexible spring hinges. The Ciri glasses are round-framed, gold-brushed stainless steel frames with leather wrapped around part of the arm, much like the White Wolf glasses.
Both glasses come with a microfiber cleaning cloth, a microfiber drawstring pouch, and a leather case with laser-etched images on it. For the White Wolf, the case has the image of the White Wolf Medalian, while Ciri’s case has the magical element symbols.
