Get ready for the wildest Predator movie yet! Dan Trachtenberg, the genius director who delivered the critically acclaimed hit Prey, is officially back at the helm for the newest entry in the saga: Predator: Badlands.
Trachtenberg already proved he can push this 37-year-old franchise into exciting new territory. This time, he’s blowing the doors off the whole premise.
In a massive shakeup for the franchise, Predator: Badlands takes us to a remote, hostile planet where we meet a young Yautja (that’s the Predator’s species) who is an outcast from his own clan. This young Hunter forms an improbable alliance with a human character named Thia, played by the phenomenal Elle Fanning. Their shared mission? A treacherous journey to hunt down the ultimate adversary: another Predator!
As Trachtenberg did with Prey, his goal with Badlands is to “push the franchise’s boundaries.” The early buzz suggests that Predator: Badlands is going to be the biggest and craziest journey the franchise has ever taken, boldly venturing down an uncharted path. And we’re totally here for it!
