The final girl is home! Neve Campbell returns to the iconic role of Sidney Prescott in Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group’s highly anticipated SCREAM 7. And we’ve got the new poster and trailer!
This installment marks a significant shift, with franchise creator Kevin Williamson in the director’s chair for the first time in the series.
The film’s synopsis reveals a terrifying new nightmare. A new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life. She faces her darkest fears as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past. And put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
SCREAM 7 will not only feature the return of Campbell but also Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers. They are joined by the returning “Core Four” survivors Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy Meeks-Martin) and Mason Gooding (Chad Meeks-Martin).
The cast adds an exciting mix of new and familiar faces, including Isabel May (as Sidney’s daughter), Anna Camp, Joel McHale, McKenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
The story is based on characters created by Williamson. James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick wrote the screenplay, and Kevin Williamson and Guy Busick wrote the story.
The sixth film in the franchise, Scream VI (2023), dramatically shifted the setting from Woodsboro to New York City. Four survivors of Ghostface attacks attempted to start a new life. However, a new Ghostface killer begins targeting them in New York, determined to see the “Core Four” finally die.
Get ready for the return of one of horror’s most iconic franchises. Scream VII opens in theaters on February 27, 2026.
