The setup is a classic “vacation gone wrong” nightmare. Best friends Trish and Maddie head to a breathtaking private lagoon halfway across the world. Trish is just trying to help Maddie heal after a “life-shattering tragedy,” and for a minute, it looks like total bliss.

That peaceful retreat turns into a desperate fight for survival when the ocean’s most intelligent predator shows up. But this isn’t just a random animal attack—the movie hints that this orca is on a mission, seeking vengeance for a brutal life spent in captivity.

The trailer is a total adrenaline shot. It starts with gorgeous shots of the lagoon and the girls enjoying the water, but the vibe shifts fast.
