Forget keeping up with the Joneses—the neighbors on Oak Street have much bigger, deadlier problems.
Writer-director David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) is back, previously known as Flowervale Street, to give suburbia another panic attack. His new sci-fi thriller has officially been titled The End of Oak Street. And it features a property value drop of prehistoric proportions.
Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor star as parents just trying to keep their family alive in a world where the local wildlife, actual dinosaurs, definitely want to eat them. Check out the pulse-pounding teaser trailer and the first official poster below!
Suburbia Gets Plucked
From blockbuster producer J.J. Abrams, this mysterious thriller takes the phrase “wrong side of the tracks” to a cosmic level. An event rips Oak Street right out of its cozy suburban foundation and transports the neighborhood to a mysterious location.
The Platt family quickly realizes that survival in this unrecognizable landscape depends entirely on sticking together—especially when they discover they are sharing their new backyard with actual, living, hungry dinosaurs.
The Cast & Crew: A Monster Pedigree
Joining Hathaway and McGregor in this fight for survival are some incredibly talented faces. The film also stars Maisy Stella (My Old Ass), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Chris Coy (The Peripheral), P.J. Byrne (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Jordan Alexa Davis (Defending Jacob).
Behind the Scenes
The film is produced by J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella via Bad Robot, alongside Mitchell, Matt Jackson (Jackson Pictures), and Tommy Harper. Executive producers include Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee, and Leeann Stonebreaker.
